HOW TO APPLY HALAL JAKIM

Do you have products that need Halal Application?

You have 2 options.

1. Find an agent
2. Do it yourself

Halal application agents can be found easily and costly too. Do not use agent that are cheap, as they might cheat your money and when you call them, the message you will get is 'the number that you call, cant be reach at the moment'. I was cheated by Hj Muhamad Dhiauddin Bin Haji Hassan (unit operasi zakat). Picture below is his name card. No one in the Jabatan Agama Islam seems to know him when i called to find him at the office number.

After few month, then only i realize that he had resigned from the post after cheating my money.

 His company name is Jaringan Bestari Management, which i have his signature and receipt of my payment to him with me.

Above is the email reply by him. Beware with the company name and the email address that he using.

He took my deposit of RM4,500 yet until today, not a nut of approval done by him.And he keep on playing hide and seek. Not answering my call. Buat bodoh only with the money he took.

So if you are thinking of giving agent this responsibilty to do Halal / GMP/HACCP/ISO applications for you, pls make sure you go for a big and old company. Not a new and without background one.

Halal Jakim application is not as tough as you think it is. As i get a lot of feedback from businessman and manufacturer that they are not applying HALAL because it's complicated and troublesome.

My experience with the Halal Application:-

Now the Halal application will be handle by the state Jabatan Agama Islam. I am in Johor, so i went to Jabatan Agama Islam Johor. The staff there are friendly and ready to attend to all our inquires, Their warmth welcome makes me feel comfortable whenever i visit their office. As for non muslim, please wear politely when visit Jabatan Agama Islam. This is a respect to their place and culture. Avoid too much of skin exposure. Usually i will wear long pant with long sleeves.

All the staff in Jabatan Agama Islam are experienced. My halal application get approval within 2 months with their help and guideline. I just do accordingly to their needs and things will be easy for us. Most important, applicant must sincere in applying for Halal. Make sure that the products that you are supplying are really meet the Halal criteria.

Halal is not only about pork or dogs. It covers cleanliness of premises and food handler /staff moral during production that applied.

Step 1:
www.halal.gov.my

Step 2:
Click 'Login' from the main page

Step 3:
Choose the Kategori..

Step 4:
Click 'Daftar di sini'

Step 5 :
Fill in the data and prepare the documents they required that pop out.

Step 6:
Call Jabatan Agama Islam Negeri to notify that you had sent the Application Online.

Step 7:
Prepare all the documents required and sent to the Jabatan Agama Islam Negeri within 1 week.
The faster you sent, the faster approval will be.


Step 8:
Follow up and get updated with the person in charge in order to make changes immediately shall there be needed.

Remember, if you are looking for agent, please find agent with experience and strong company background.

PHUKET PART 2 - (THE ALL OUT, ALL DAY)

Today is our last full day of the trip. Normally, last day is FREE and EASY day. And we will 'ALL OUT' to play to the MAX... 


We went to lot of places. And mainly to 'PRAY' and 'BUY'

My mind was blank. I wish i can be happy everyday. So, PEACE will makes me HAPPY..

My godma wish.. I have no idea what she wrote.. I can't read chinese..

After tired walking around the temple, saw this.. 

A PERFECT time for ice cream in the super hot day..

THEN WE PROCEED TO THE NEXT TEMPLE.. 'I FORGOT THE NAME'

I bought 'Godma' a super refreshing coconut drink

 After finish drinking, the seller help me to break it into two..

So that we can eat the fresh 'flesh' of the coconut..

 AND ENJOY WATCHING HOW HAZELNUT WAS TAKEN OUT..

This fish, i have to say something.. Because this is my favorite MUST EAT food in Thailand. I will find this fish whenever i go to Bangkok. And surprise me that i found it here in Phuket too..

The fish is fresh. The 'flesh' of the fish is smooth and juicy.. And the salt mix well with the fish.. Not too salty.. And some said its dirty?? For me, as long as its taste nice, its fine for me.. And i really cant find the same taste in Malaysia yet.. If anyone know where can i eat this in Malaysia, please let me know. Especially in JOHOR.... :))

AFTER WALKING AROUND AND DINNER, WE BACK HOTEL TO SLEEP AND BACK TO MALAYSIA THE NEXT MORNING...

Actually i had took lot of pictures this trip. Well well well, all the pictures gone and lost. I could say this is not my complete set of pictures and stories to upload. Anyway, just bare with it first ya.. My next trip, if everything goes well, will be Taiwan.. Hope i get my 'leave' to visit Taiwan.. :))
